Safety instructions

During the winter months, logging operations may impair the quality of certain trail sections.

Wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate, practical clothing that protects you from cold and wet conditions, as well as heat and sun.

Bring plenty of fluids.

Please wear appropriate hiking boots that provide adequate grip even on slippery and steep, rocky, and uneven trails.

If you feel certain sections of the trail are impassable, you should avoid them. Especially in adverse weather conditions, natural trails can become muddy and slippery.

Especially in autumn, be aware that fallen leaves on the ground may obscure uneven surfaces, roots, stones, or holes in the trail.

You must expect these types of disruptions to the trail when hiking.

Although the trail is very well marked throughout, you should always have the information flyer with you for safety reasons.
