Our location half way between the metropolitan areas of Cologne/Bonn and Frankfurt with excellent high-speed rail connections is the reason for the recent dynamic development of the region.

In many of the 24 villages comprising the municipality of Montabaur traditional structures are still intact and actively reinforced by clubs and societies. Highlights include concerts and cultural events culminating in the annual church fairs. Located in a varying landscape the Southern Westerwald offers abundant opportunities to actively experience nature.
